“Praline” is caramelized roasted nuts (mainly hazelnut and almond) made by mixing in nuts in boiling sugar. The package looks expensive compared to other stick shaped snacks. It’s a luxurious snack for grown ups.The product description says, that “select Turkish hazelnuts and California almonds are used in the Premium Toppo for the rich flavor”.It is thicker and heavier than the usual Toppo. That means there are lots of chocolate inside.7 sticks in individual package. The praline chocolate with nuts and almonds give rich flavor. Also, coffee is used as a hidden flavor to enhance the rich flavor.
Just like the Deep Praline that I introduced the other day, this one is also in the “Premium Toppo” series. The packaging feels special and luxurious. The green tea color makes me think about the flavor. They say that the first picked green tea from Nishio City in Aichi Prefecture is blended in the chocolate. Each stick of “Plump Toppo” is thicker and heavier than the usual Toppo.Toppo’s pretzel is crunchy. There are plenty of of rich green tea chocolate inside. The hidden taste of Yuzu creates a flavor that distinguishes it from other green tea chocolate sweets .7 sticks in 1 individual package. The premium Toppo series include “Deep Praline” and “Plump Green Tea”…
The mandarin oranges buried in white agar look so refreshing. It’s wobbly when I scoop it with a spoon. It’s really bouncy and goes down my throat smoothly.Milk is used instead of water for the milky flavor. The sourness of the mandarin oranges enhance the refreshing taste of agar.Liquor is added as a hidden flavor, giving refreshing yet rich taste. It’s a perfect sweet for a hot day like today.I am happy that it is low in calories.
Vibrant green green tea pudding is topped with squeezed dark green Uji green tea bean paste like Mont Blanc. The brilliant color of this pudding caught my eyes in the sweets section.White whipped cream is sandwiched between the green tea pudding and the Uji green tea bean paste. The green tea bean paste is rich in tea flavor and sweet. The taste of whipped cream and red beans complement the pudding well. The green tea pudding at the bottom is wobbly and slightly bitter. It goes well with the sweetness of the bean paste.
Summer is coming to an end and lately I feel the arrival of autumn.Speaking of autumn, chestnuts are autumn food, so I decided to buy a Mont Blanc. It uses chestnut from Italy. It is impressive and substantial. It has multi layers: chestnut cream and whipped cream on the top, chestnut paste in the middle, and sponge cake at the bottom. The chestnut cream and chestnut paste give rich chestnut flavor. The combination of sweet creamy whipped cream and soft sponge cake is wonderful. The quality of this cake is of a Mont Blanc sold in a cake shop.
The product description on the website says, “We use pumpkin paste and essence from pumpkins from Hokkaido harvested in season, and made it into a full flavor pumpkin pudding.”The cup is full to the brim with pudding, it almost spilled out when I opened the lid.I can really taste the natural sweetness of pumpkin. The sweetness of the pudding is just right, and it melts in your mouth perfectly. The caramel sauce at the bottom really enhances the taste of the pumpkin pudding. It’s nice to see more seasonal sweets using fall produces.
I bought this product because the name “Super Dense” appealed to me.The cup is wrapped in a stylish paper. It makes it look special. This cheesecake only uses cream cheese from Hokkaido. It’s a bit firm when I scoop it with a spoon, but it tastes smooth in my mouth. The unbaked cheese cake is super dense like it says. The cheesecake is packed with goodness.I think it would taste good on a cookie or a cracker. It’s a fancy desert, but it is surprisingly low in calorie.
The cup is rather small and cute.I can smell the wonderful smell of soybean meal when I open the lid.The soft dumplings have dark molasses inside. The dark molasses has rich flavor of black cane sugar. The sweetness of soybean meal and dark molasses go really well. But the sweetness is not overwhelming, and the aftertaste is pleasant. There are 5 bite size dumplings in a cup.I finished them in a blink of an eye.
